If You Give A Patient Some Water
When someone you love gets an injury, you want to help so much because you feel so bad about their pain. You can't hug them because it will hurt. So, you bring them a cup of tea. When you bring them a cup of tea, they're going to want a cookie to go with it. Next, you go back to the kitchen to get a cookie. While you're there, you realize they may need a napkin. You bring them the cookie and the napkin, but they are done with the tea. When you take the tea, they need something else to drink. Then you go back to the kitchen and get them a bottle full of water. The tea and water make them thirsty, so they have to go to the bathroom. You watch them walk to the bathroom because you are afraid they will fall. They go in and close the door behind them. You wait, hoping not to hear any crashing sounds. Soon you hear a flush, which makes you realize they have survived. When they sit down, you realize they will need more water to take their pills. If you give them more water, they will have to go to the bathroom again . . . Yikes! This is going to be a very long recovery!
